Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
This is a working draft for the rebuild. It reflects what the website actually does, but it has not been reviewed by a solicitor and the retention periods below need confirming before launch.
What we collect
When you place an order or request a quote: your name, email address, phone number, the shop you chose, the job you asked for, and a delivery address if you asked us to post something. We keep this for as long as we need it to do the work, hold your artwork for reorders, and meet our accounting obligations.
When you send an enquiry: your name, contact details, and what you wrote.
When you upload artwork: the files, stored privately. Only our staff can see them, through an authenticated system — they are never publicly reachable.
When you create an account: the above, plus a password we store only as a hash. We cannot read your password.
Cookies
We set one cookie to remember your basket and one preference for whether you want the site light or dark. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share what you do here with advertising networks.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than the couriers we need to use to deliver a parcel you asked us to send. We do not sell data.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@myprintexpress.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
